The course was very informative, I had learnt a lot about the hospitality industry. As well as how to serve as a waitress and how to make hot drinks such as coffee and teas as well as cold drinks such as shakes and smoothies. Negatives was sometime tutors expected us to know how to do things when we were learning.

I completed this course while I was still in high school as my school included the VET course in the hospitality unit i studied in year 11 and 12. Although I didn't choose this course in order to gain employment it was very useful in terms of general knowledge about food service, hygiene and WHS. Also I know that if I wish to work in the hospitality field in the future I am well equipped with in depth knowledge and skills to suit the industry.
