ACU has one of the strongest and industry relevant OT degrees in Australia. Some of the lectures are pioneers in occupational therapy and great researchers. Also, the way the course is structured in terms of engaging in early prac gave us confidence from very early on, exposing us to different OT settings. The feedback I keep getting from employers is that all ACU employess were far more competent and confident in their early career compared to other uni graduates. Its university has its own strengths reagrding degrees, ACU's strength is definitely their OT degree/program.

Student review
Having been in the first cohort of students to graduate from the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course offered at Australian Catholic University, I could not speak more highly of my experience. Lecturers and course content were highly guided by industry knowledge and it gave students a great insight into the profession of occupational therapy. Placements were offered from well-known health institutions and knowledge that was gained from practical placements was invaluable.

My experience of ACU and the occupational therapy faculty has been excellent. All tutors are very experienced in the workforce and have a wealth of knowledge. It has been very enjoyable to study here as staff are very sympathetic and understanding about individual circumstances.
