This degrade allows two different streams which has different technical area of focus. This is the difference between the degree of commerce and specialised degree in finance. I found all courses are very interesting and some are very advanced level. As I believe if you have completed the course with a Distinguish average then should have no issue with the 1st level CFA. From finding job perspective it will really depends on where you go because Australia itself the country’s finance industry is very limited in size. Overall I enjoyed the course and my time at ANU

The course is really for someone who is interested in a career in academic than for someone who would like to work in the finance industry when they complete the course. I suspect this notion is quite common among other courses offered by the ANU.
