I was enrolled in an accelerated course although it was advertised as part time. I found the workload was heavy but not too excessive. Only 2 nights a week all whilst I was working full time. Great stepping stone on my fitness journey, opening up a whole new industry and career path.

Far superior course to majority of Cert 4 in fitness courses out there. Whereas most fitness cert "master trainer" providers will teach you how to look good as a PT and more on marketing yourself to appear successful, TAFE actually teaches you how to be great PT by explaining the science and psychology behind what you're doing, and its creates better PTs by actually making the course fail-able, unlike other providers who hand certs out like participation awards. Also was great to learn from teachers that had a wide array of disciplines and views, you weren't being sold a specific training style or a onesided view on fitness, they educated you to be able to make choices and be able to utilise many techniques.
