Certificate I in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE)

This course is a bridging/preparatory qualification enabling learners to extend their knowledge and skills in the general education field, prior to entering a range of vocational training programs, employment or community participation. It includes core modules in literacy, numeracy, computing, personal development, program support as well as electives including work opportunities community participation, learning through practice (projects), study skills and work experience. The way the qualification is delivered depends on the needs of the students.
