The Bachelor of Public Health will provide students with an understanding of the key issues affecting the health of populations. Students will develop skills in obtaining, reviewing and analysing health information; planning and managing a health program or project; and in improving the health of populations. High achieving students can undertake an Honours year at the conclusion of the degree to further develop and apply their research skills.

The degree itself was great and UOW is a wonderful place to study. Unfortunately jobs in the field are limited and the few jobs that are around they require experience. It would be great if the degree had more practical opportunities to draw upon when applying for roles
