Why study this course

Mechatronic engineering is a multidisciplinary field providing the foundation for robotics, automation and the 'intelligent' products and devices common in today's society. It draws on elements of mechanical, systems, electrical and electronic engineering, and computer science. The course develops skills in digital electronics, microprocessors, computer control and software design in a mechanical engineering environment. The study of management and communications is integral to the degree.
