This program provides focused skills, knowledge and theory for the development of creative vision and expression in interactive design and digital graphics design for the creative industries with specific emphasis on the electronic games industry. Students are provided with theoretical and practical skills with a focus on media specific aspects of art, design, narrative, animation, interactivity and virtual environments. The course prepares students for work in the cross-disciplinary area of the digital media industries. Students learn about games design and culture, interactive storytelling, cross-media entertainment and broader skills and knowledge required in the digital art and media industries.
