Student review
I took this course as a mature student. Although l struggled through to the end, it was very difficult. I would advise against studying online as it’s very isolating and unless you’re continuing studying it’s best to start off on campus, where you can form study mates and network. I was at a loss as to which units to choose that would best suit my career goals, I didn’t see any units that allowed for placement therefore, l have a degree in counselling but zero actual counselling experience. All the jobs I’ve applied for require at lease 2yrs counselling experience.
